1/2C 1857 MS 64 BN PCGS
Deep brownish violet toning, with tinges of mint red evident at the rims. Well struck. Virtually mark-free surfaces. A minute round depression in the right obverse field, as struck. Minimal ultra-microscopic carbon flecks. A pleasing, nearly Gem quality example of this final half cent date. Breen-1, with a dot on the first A in AMERICA. Not attributed on the PCGS holder.
