2C 1864 MS 63 RB PCGS Sm MottoDeep, uneven brownish violet toning, with tinges of orange and golden mint luster around some of the lettering and devices. Well struck. Smooth, attractive surfaces. A classic American coin, and the first to bear the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The Small Motto pieces were struck first, said to be a quantity of a 'few thousand' according to Breen, minted in April; followed by the Large Motto variety.
