5C 1867 PR 64 Pattern PCGS J-566 This lot has an old style holder

Pollock-627. Struck in nickel. Plain edge. Low Rarity-7. Soft white mint brilliance. Satiny reflective fields carry a hint of light haze. Fine die polishing lines in the fields. Hairlines are virtually nil. This classic Pattern nickel five-cent depicts the head of Liberty obverse as used on the regular issue nickel three-cent piece, with a distinctive olive wreath on the reverse, 5 CENTS within and IN GOD WE TRUST in tiny letters above. Twenty-one examples of Judd-566 have been PCGS certified. Seven grade at this level, and only five grade finer. Housed in a green label holder.
