25C 1937 PR 67 PCGS
Full blazing mint brilliance. Deep mirror-like fields cloaked under golden dusty tone on both sides. Slightly contrasting devices. This coin was once a part of the Daniel D. Biddle Collection of Washington Quarter Registry Sets. Prior to its original offering at auction in the summer of 2005 the Biddle set was the number one Registry Set of Washington Quarters Proof Strikes (1936-1964), rated by PCGS. It had the honor of being both the All-Time Finest and Current Finest Registry Set at the time. PCGS has certified 76 coins at this level with a mere two finer.
